How do I wash my car with a foam gun?
The Snow Foam guns from Snowfoam Australia are designed to work with your everyday garden hose. Just fill it with 100mL of our Snow Foam Detergent and 800mL of water. Spray the foam on your car and let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes.
- Snow Foam Pre-Wash, Rinse, Foam Contact Wash, Rinse then Dry.
For dirtier cars, you can use the two bucket method of car washing for better results with a microfibre wash mitt. Regularly washing your car with the foam gun will prevent dirt from sticking so you can prevent using buckets altogether.
How does a snow foam gun work?
The foam gun works by attaching it to your everyday garden hose. The water travels through the hose and gun, creating a wet foam that adheres to your vehicle. Our super concentrated Snow Foam detergent works perfectly with our snow foam gun. Simply foam, rinse, foam, scrub, rinse and dry for complete clean whilst minimising the risk of causing swirl marks and hazing.
How do I use a foam gun?
The most important thing you can do to get the best results is to start with the best quality products. All snow foam products aren’t the same.
Our snow foam gun and detergents are made to work together efficiently. Once you mix the detergent with water as instructed, attach it to the garden hose and adjust the dial to the preferred foaming consistency. Pull the trigger, and start snow foaming your car.
Does the Snow Foam Lance and Gun spray the same thick foam?
No, the Snow Foam Gun is specifically for garden hose use. Garden hoses provide around 50psi of pressure, which isn't enough for extremely thick foam. Instead the Gun shoots a wet foam similar to the consistency of a bucket wash.
For the thickest foam available, please see our Snow Foam Lance options which require a pressure washer to accompany it. We recommend a 1800psi+ pressure washer with 8L/min flow rate.
Can a Snow Foam Gun work with a pressure washer?
No, the Snow Foam Gun is our dedicated tool for garden hoses. For pressure washer compatible foam guns, please use the Snow Foam OG+ Lance.

Excellent product although putting the foaming nozzle on was a bit tricky and resulted in my first use firing the nozzle as a projectile at my vehicle. Would recommend the product but a warning about testing away from car should be included

I ordered this package with the gloss wash shampoo and it was very disappointing. After using both products it left both our vehicles in a poor condition. My partners rims were stripped of paint in some areas which has never happened before and both the cars were left with a dirty looking film that was hard to remove after washing again with our normal wash. The windows went very streaky and the car seemed to lack a shine that is normally there....
I was a little dubious but loved trying this for the first time on the weekend! I keep my car pretty clean - and have a pompanazzi protection coat so a foam rinse and dry was all it needed! fantastic! the wheel cleaner was excellent too! but my favourite part was the quick dry towel - I've tried a heap of them and have amassed quite a collection - but this one is truly exceptional!!

The package is very good. Hose attached foam gun actually works very well for what is essentially very low pressure.
